How long has it taken me to do one load of laundry tonight?
Longer than it’s taken to listen to three episodes of “The Savage Love Podcast,” three “Planet Money” episodes, and two episodes of “This American Life.”
That’s ONE load of laundry. Six hours. Yes, it was huge. And yes, I split it up for the dryer.
It’s late. I’m hungry. I’m tired. I haven’t seen Kerry all day. I’m honestly more than a little cranky from all of it.
No amount of sweet, life-sustaining public radio is going to make up for it.
