All Things Considered did an interview with Aziz Ansari this afternoon. Sadly, most of the interview with the comedian is really boring. I think a lot of it had to do with the questions he was being asked. The interviewer started with questions about Ansari’s character on “Parks and Recreation”, which were kind of interesting. After those were done, the questions turned to very generic and very dull questions about Ansari’s career. A little background is nice, but really, I could have googled that.
The last 30 seconds are the only reason the interview is worth listening to. Ansari suggests that Soulja Boy host Fresh Air and/or replace Carl Kassel by delivering the news.
Yes, please. Just for one day – NPR should become rappers and rappers should host NPR shows. Think of the cross-audience confusion. Yahh, trick, yahhh!
