I was skimming through my Twitter stream this evening when I saw this disturbing piece of news from NPR’s social media guy Andy Carvin:
“Robbed on the DC Metro. Rat bastard took my iPhone. Filed police report; need to put ice on my leg and change all my passwords.”
He tells the story of the robbery in his tweets – the 3 punkass kids that took the phone, chasing them to the point of a sprained calf, the Metro manager that wouldn’t let him use the phone.
That sucks. I hate it when bad things happen to people that are good people who doing awesome work (especially when said people steal their phones that they use for said awesome work). Be careful, y’all.
Maybe those kids should do what this guy did.
