It’s not exactly public radio, so it’s a little off-topic, but the latest episode of the Poetry Foundation’s “Poetry Off the Shelf” podcast includes what might be the most inspired moment ever: they call back a group of “Poetry” magazine readers who disapprove of the magazine’s content.
This would be like if Rush Limbaugh called NPR to say he didn’t like something, so NPR called him back, teased him gently, and then asked, “Hey, would you mind expressing to me in slightly greater detail exactly what your problem is?,” thereby deflating any power his questioning and criticism may have had.
