So I think that Kerry’s OTM podcast is broken. She says hers downloads story-by-story. On mine, I see (what I think is) the cover story – the interview with Michael Lewis – followed by the full episode.
Also, Brooke wants you to call; we haven’t yet, if the spirit moves you, as Brooke says, then let me groove you, as Marvin Gaye says, the phone number is mentioned here. They might use your comments in a program promo. We might call – I suspect that Brooke might be goading Kerry and I into giving them a call.
Would it be too soon to call? Is there a hiatus for calling someone you blog about like their is after going on a first date with someone?
What I wish might have been given more time is “On the Media’s” piece about the 30th anniversary of the Jonestown massacre (if you don’t know much about it, they were kind enough to link to this video), and about the nature of anniversary stories in general. Generally speaking, this story is one that I find terribly difficult to talk about.
I plan on trying my best to express what I need to express about this story, but I don’t think I’ll get a chance to give it real space until later this week.
This week’s highlights reel was written by Matthew; Kerry’s already left for work, so she hasn’t had the chance to see what I’ve written at all, let alone review it, or (sigh) edit it, though there is much that could stand to be cleared up.
