Do you, don’t you want me to love you?

I’m coming down fast, but don’t let me break you.

So NPR is previewing the new record by The Fireman. Which makes me want to ask one question: Why does Paul McCartney only consistently suck when he’s working by himself?

From what I’ve heard so far, “Electric Arguments,” though it will by no means make my end-of-year best records list, is not half bad. More like 25% bad.

It just makes me wish Sir McCartney didn’t choose to put out his worst songs by himself. He’s not untalented – or at least he’s not as bad off as Ringo.
