This afternoon, we got a tip from the lovely Aaron Hicklin from Out Magazine about the first in their ongoing series of 100 awesome gay men and women who are changing politics and culture. The first man in the lineup? NPR Justice Department Correspondent and frequent voice on my drive to work, Ari Shapiro.
If you take a look at the article, not only is there a lovely picture of Mr. Shapiro that makes him look like a combination Jimmy Olsen and Dresden Doll, but there are also some fun facts. Did you know that Ari Shapiro does Parkour? That’s kind of bad ass. Now, I’m going to picture him scaling walls and hurdling park benches, chasing down a story. Also, he and his husband seem completely charming together.
