Since the Great Bryant Park Project Diaspora of late July, we’ve been keeping up with former BPPers via twitter, facebook and the BPP Diner (where you can still get The Most). As far as we can tell, everyone is doing well. Though, it still weirds me out to hear Mike Pesca using his Official NPR Voice.
This week, former BPP Web Editor Laura Conaway’s new project officially launched. It’s called “Planet Money“, and it’s way better than “Marketplace”.
If you’re like me, you’re probably interested in the economy but not the kid that sat in the front row in econ class raising her hand all the time to answer the math questions. Hell, even contributor David Kestenbaum admits “And it will be nice to report on something I understand (unlike the economy)” in a post about the large hadron collider.
Also, they have a twitter!
So congratulations on the awesome new project, Laura. If you can find some way to work in an economic Emergency Krulwich (entirely likely in this market, it seems), you might be my hero for life.

also, that twitter link is broked.
Can I request you guys do an NPR–people-on-twitter roundup?
Gregg - The link is fixed. I should really add http:// to those.
Scott - That’s a perfectly reasonable request. It may take us a few days, but we’ll do it.
