Sidenote

Did anyone else notice and find it a little weird that Mike Pecsca (formerly of BPP fame) did two stories today, one for “Morning Edition” and one for “All Things Considered”? Also, did anyone think it was a crime that Pesca wasn’t given the Water Polo story?

I mean, I know he works at NPR and all, but it’s strange to hear him using official NPR story filing voice.

well, it would be a conflict of interest since I bet heavily on the Hungarian ladies to take the gold. What happens is, since I became sports reporter I had to put all the futures bets I had into a blind trust so as to avoid the appearance of a conflict of interest. But come on, I remember that liked the Hungarian’s women’s squad at 6-1.

    Go Hungary!
