Now I've just checked out your site a bit and had the hopefullest thought: you guys might actually help me to come back from this horrible, bitter eff-them-ness that I am feeling toward NPR right now. I've been listening to and loving NPR for ages, but this BPP killing is brutal and I don't know if my enthusiasm will ever be what it used to. So I'm going to keep reading. Perhaps you you will help me heal my heart. (Still, it may be a cold day in July before my local station sees any more of my money.) Last night I dreamt that on today's show, Allison announced that in response to the overwhelming fan support for the BPP, NPR decided to keep the show in web-only format. It was one of those dreams that is so realistic that when I woke up, I was really excited because I thought it had actually happened. I listened to the show today expecting a big announcement, but instead, it was the CEO from NPR officially stating that he is not interested in having the BPP continue in any format... Back to slapping my forehead... I know what you mean about thinking of the BPP staff at strange times…
