From the BPP: “NYT: NPR is cancelling the BPP“.

The last day will be July 25th.
EDIT: Kerry wanted me to delete her whole post. She made some apologies here and here. It’s been a rough morning at R/S; the Bryant Park Project has been the work home to some of our biggest supporters, and they’ve been good friends to us. It’s been hard not to take it personally, and we’re not even the ones who work there.
Kerry wanted me to delete the whole post, or to re-write it. I thought it best to leave just this bit of her original post:
To everyone at the BPP that’s been so lovely to Matthew and I, thank you. Thank you for interviewing us, for tweeting, for giving me something to listen to at work, for inspiring so many blog posts, and for every time you made me giggle with my headphones on.

Hear hear! This is a shame–BPP was Gold, Jerry! Gold!
I think BPP had some great ideas, but I found the “drive-time” multi-DJ format to be wickedly obnoxious.
