A quick note to Pat Wente: I would have dropped you a note sooner, but I only received the news of your anticipated demise of your KWMU career yesterday. I’m sure with all the special talents you have showered upon your fellow contemporaries over the years; one of them will assist you to end up on your feet. Go for it girlfriend, try a new position, for a change. The other preferred position you were so fond of never worked for you, even with all the enthusiasm you put into it. I’ll be sure to share your situation with all I know that have had the pleasure of our husbands crossing your path over the years.
