In this week’s episode of “Wait Wait Don’t Tell Me,” one of the questions in a panel round brought to mind what may be the most shocking psychological study to ever leave the ivy-covered walls of Indiana Unversity.
Its amazing conclusion? Men and women don’t understand each other. Rather, men don’t understand women. Seems we think a woman being friendly is a woman coming onto us, and vice versa.
I have to believe it’s false. I’m wracking my brain here, and I can’t think of a single example where I’ve ever been mistaken about that, one way or the other.
P.S. Welcome to the working week.
