I get excited about elections like college basketball fans get excited about March Madness. I’m positively giddy that the Democratic race is so hotly contested, and as much as I prefer one candidate over the other, I’d love to see the whole thing come down to the convention.
As the returns from the primaries come in, I’ve been relying on the internet and its delegate score cards. Having looked at every major national news outlet’s coverage at some point, I have to say that NPR’s sweet interactive election map is everything I could hope for.
It’s colorful! It’s got a fantastic spinning beach ball wait signal thing! It’s super easy to use and understand! And the best part? NPR generally waits until a decent number of precincts are reporting before announcing any projected winners. In short, it’s everything an interactive should be, and if you’re looking for complete election goodness, you should give it a try.
